About Us
Hi, I am Swiss writer Dana Rinder and this is my Appenzell Cattle Dog Rösli.
We are both keen lighthouse lovers. I like to climb them and she likes to rescue them.
I also enjoy stories about mysterious incidents in exposed and very remote places like lighthouses on an uninhabitated
rocky island in the middle of the stormy sea.
Join us on our lighthouse rambles and hear some thrilling tales about lighthouses and their keepers!
why i write in english
When I started to listen to rock music in the early nineteen-seventies I discovered my love for the English language. And when I embarked on learning it as a fourteen year old I felt at once that writing in English was much more fun than writing in my mother tongue.
Over the years my passion for the English language never lessened. But I would’t dare going public with my stories, because I was afraid I would be exposed as a foreign speaker soon. With the appearance of social media and everybody writing in English I lost my doubts. So here I am with my stories!
