Lighthouses In Germany

I travelled mainly in Germany with my Lighthouse Rescue Dog, Rösli. She adored jumping into the waves of the Baltic Sea and saving her lighthouse toy. And I didn’t just get to take photos of Rösli doing this, I also got to have a closer look at some of the lighthouses in the Gelting and the Lübeck Bay.

My personal favourite lighthouse on the Baltic Sea is Falshöft. Thanks to its location not far from the dog beach, we always had it in sight, even when we were rescuing lighthouses. And not only can you climb it, you can even get married in it!

Here are the lighthouses around the Baltic Sea that I have been to with Rösli.

Lighthouse Rescue Dog Rösli

The lighthouse rescuer

Rösli was the greatest Lighthouse Rescue Dog ever. She would accompany me on my walks and would always be willing to save her lighthouse toy from the floods.

Sadly, Rösli passed away on 28 July 2020 at the age of 12. But she is spiritually still with me when I work on my stories about lighthouses and strange events around them.
