Lighthouse Rescue Dog Rösli
Hi, I am Rösli and I am an Appenzeller Sennenhund (Appenzell Cattle Dog). I am also a trained Lighthouse Rescue Dog and whenever Dana takes me on my walks I am constantly prepared to jump into rivers, lakes and seas to save my lighthouse toy from perishing in the floods.
In Loving Memory
Sadly, Rösli passed away at the age of 12 years on 28th July 2020. This website is dedicated to her, the greatest Lighthouse Rescue Dog ever.
Learn More About Appenzell Cattle Dogs
The Appenzeller Sennenhund (Appenzell Cattle Dog) is a Swiss dog breed which is used as a driving, watch, guard, house and farm dog. Today it is also an all-round working and family dog.
The coat of the medium-sized dog has three colours: black, white and russet. A distinctive mark is its tail which is carried tightly curled over the croup and looks like a post horn.
The Appenzeller Sennenhund also has a distinct white blaze which runs from the skull without break
over the bridge of the nose and can reach totally or partially round the muzzle.
